CFMOTO U10 Pro Highland vs. UFORCE 1000

CFMOTO U10 Pro Highland versus UFORCE 1000

Finding the right UTV that checks all the boxes can be difficult. Most people look for solid performance, though in my eyes, having a versatile ride is just as important. While many manufacturers strike the balance between these two qualities quite nicely, there’s something about the models from CFMOTO that is hard to compete with.

Today, we’re going to check out two heavy hitters from CFMOTO: the U10 Pro Highland and the UFORCE 1000.

Both of these are incredibly versatile UTVs, which are capable of everything from hauling gear to buck wild trail riding. The question we’re going to try and answer, however, is “Which one is better?”

There’s no doubt that CFMOTO has earned its stripes since it came out of the fold in 1989. To this day, the brand does a phenomenal job balancing quality and affordability. You can find all of the best premium features, from TFT displays to push-button electric shifts, without emptying your bank account.

Whether you’re new to the scene or you’ve been riding UTVs for longer than you can remember, CFMOTO has a lineup that’s worth discussing in detail.

So, if you want to learn more about the U10 Pro Highland vs. UFORCE 1000, come with us as we break them down and figure out which one might suit your style best!

At first glance, the U10 Pro Highland and UFORCE 1000 seem pretty similar, though when you start digging into the specs, there are quite a few noticeable differences.

For instance, the U10 Pro Highland has over a foot more ground clearance, which we love for rougher trails. On the other hand, the UFORCE 1000 is a bit on the lighter end, which is great for nimble trail riding and overall handling.

The engines, while both pretty impressive, have a few differences as well. You get more torque and horsepower with the U10 Pro Highland’s 998cc fuel-injected engine than you do with the 963cc V-Twin. With that said, that doesn’t mean they’re both not just as capable of hitting steep trails or jetting over miles of off-road desert with ease.

You get plenty of features and expert hauls all around.

Detail Differences (Design and Features, Price, Capability)

Design and Features

The U10 Pro Highland is a super rugged piece of machinery that offers all of the best features in terms of luxury and comfort. The cab feels like it’d be more suited to a high-end pickup truck than an off-road UTV, as you get heat, air conditioning, and comfortable bucket seats for year-round riding.

Add in the user-friendly 8” MMI touchscreen digital display, which offers vehicle diagnostics and CarPlay connectivity, as well as tons of storage with the removable storage large-volume storage box, and you have a UTV that screams “luxury meets utility.”

The UFORCE 1000, on the other hand, doubles down on rugged utility. It’s a “built-to-get-stuff-done” kind of UTV, offering a roomy bench seat that can sit up to three, an ultra-spacious gas-assisted cargo box for hauling all of your equipment, and a Pulse Digital Display, which gives you Bluetooth connectivity and all of your most important engine vitals with the touch of a finger.

Now, while it might not have the bells and whistles of the U10, it makes up for it with pure practicality and reliability.

If you’re looking to get the most out of your UTV experience, no matter which of these vehicles you end up with, we recommend checking out our online storefront, where you’ll find a number of CFMOTO accessories and parts, and more specifically, CFMOTO UFORCE accessories.

Price

All of those additional bells and whistles are reflected in the price of the U10 Pro Highland, which, as of today, comes in at around $29,999 MSRP. The UFORCE 1000, on the other hand, is around $13,499 MSRP, meaning you get a lot more bang for your buck.

For the money, both models offer incredible value and are priced just around the same as similar models from brands like Polaris or Can-Am.

If you’re after a premium experience with all-weather perks, the U10 justifies the extra investment. If it’s raw power and utility you’re after, the UFORCE is a solid choice.

Capability

In terms of performance, both the U10 Pro Highland and UFORCE 1000 are solid UTVs.

However, if you’re just looking for a little extra help around the yard or the farm, I’d go with the UFORCE 1000. It’ll certainly get you through any rugged off-road adventures with style, but it’s more so built to handle tasks.

What’s worth noting, however, is that its slightly lighter weight and nimble design are great for trickier trails and muddy fields.

The U10 Pro Highland is the top dog for comfort, no matter the destination.

You get tons of ground clearance and high-end suspension for a comfortable ride, no matter what’s underneath you, as well as a cushy, fully enclosed cab for riding any time of year.

After many years of riding UTVs, I’ve seen UFORCE models do it all, from hauling firewood to camp to climbing steep switchbacks. They’re very capable vehicles all around.

Tips and FAQs

Q1: Are CFMOTOs good UTVs?

A1: Absolutely! Though they haven’t been around as long as some other major UTV makers, such as Honda, which makes it hard to compare their long-term reliability, these UTVs get pretty good ratings all around.

Q2: How does CFMOTO measure up to Polaris?

A2: While some of the models in the CFMOTO lineup aren’t as feature-rich as some of the similar models that Polaris offers, you do get a lot of excellent, top-tier features, such as digital displays, LED lights, and electronic power steering.

Q3: Where is CFMOTO made?

A3: CFMOTO vehicles are currently made in China and Thailand, alongside many other major motorsports vehicles. However, the company opened up a Mexican factory back in 2023, which now operates with over 75,000 square meters of space.
